Local by default

Core Amnis dictation is designed to run on your device.

That is the default path for local recording and cleanup.

When the internet matters

Some optional account, billing, and cloud-assisted flows need the internet.

Those are separate from basic local dictation.

What sign-in is for

Billing and subscription checks.
Device linking and referrals.
Not required for the core local dictation path.
